"Fool to Think" hooked up with "Hello Again". They had a baby, and the baby started taking steroids. Rooftop is the baby

At least the later part of it is Rashawn, but the first part sounds more like something Boyd would play.

I think this and If Only will end up being the divisive songs from the album among the fans over time. I love both though.

I think some fans will be biased against this due to its superficial similarities to Everyday, and then some people are just not going to give this album (and this song) a chance at all because its not 1998.

the bridge of this song makes me so happy I want to cry. I feel like it reminds me of a song I used to love a long time ago because I get that nostalgic feeling. I feel like it may be the pre-chorus of Hundred Million by Treble Charger but they don't sound too similar. I don't know, I just love it.

If you listen carefully, a lot of the licks in that solo are riffs that Rashawn uses in live performance. Its a muted (or maybe not) trumpet run through some kind of effects processer.

near the end?...the one that continues almost to the end of the song? because that part is definitely Rashawn. The first part (the one you're talking about) I'm still not entirely sure, but It is the same effect as the following parts, so I think it's also Rashawn (the part right before Dave comes in sounds like he's doubletongueing like he does in his live solos

Ok, I've listened again, the part before Dave could be either Boyd or Rashawn, but the part after Dave comes in is Definitely Rashawn

the end with the 2-3 choruses is definitely rashawn. the part i was talking about above is the instrumental section that comes right out of the bridge (after "fall until we fly"). that sounds like tim with effects. the fluttering sound it makes sounds too quick to be rashawn, but sounds like something tim has done before (time bomb, halloween).

Rashawn could do it by doubletongueing, but it doesn't really sound like something he'd play...and after another listen, There are a few faint differences between that part and the part that is definitely Rashawn.

Agreed.. Make the bridge the chorus and ditch the existing one and the song has a chance. I will be skipping this one often..

DOOF has the Little Thing chorus thrown in there which I love, but I still won't listen to it because the rest is painful.. Rooftop - What a waste of a great bridge..

My thought listening to it the first time was "Oh, they slowed down Dreams of our Fathers so they can finally play it live" Sounds like a combo of that and Seven to me. Like it, don't love it, definitely the one song that I need time to grow on me but yes could be a monster live, just like everything else on this album!

Wife beaters? Gold chains? Were you high when you posted this?

This or BBN should be the next single. Talk about punching people in the face with DMB.
