When was the last time a team had such a talented blend of star recruits and veteran leadership?

Really looking forward to watching Duke this season.

Malik Newman is transferring from Mississippi state. Not sure who is in the mix but I'm sure a lot of schools will be interested.

Yeah, I wish he wasn't leaving. we got a tone of talent coming in. And now he leaves.

Seems like he had trust issues with howland, whatever that means. He wanted to be one and done, but got 2nd round feedback and decided not to go and now he's gotta sit out a year.

Yeah not the smartest decision IMO. Let's see what you can do this year with many more talented players coming in. Now you have to sit on bench for a whole year. I mean we have a top 5 recruting class coming in there is no reason to go somewhere else really. And Howland has put many players in the nba.

Didn't know msu's class was that good. Interesting decision for sure, but seems like howland was the reason he's leaving.

This. I always scratch my head when I see someone pick Purdue or lsu over Kentucky, duke, Kansas, unc, etc.

It's not a bad atmospher when we have a good team. The hump gets pretty crazy. Plus facilities are pretty good. I don't see why not if the if recruting around is good and the coach produces nba players. But I'm a state fan so I'm bias.

Too many kids have egos that they can't risk going from "the guy" to "a guy". Not always guaranteed, but much safer when you go to certain schools

I think it is because college basketball really isn't important to them. It's just a training program they are going to be in for 6 months.
