this one is actually the 2009 meat up, obviously with snow i doubt there will be cornhole, but you get an idea.

the snow in c-ville last year didn't happen until mid january i think. even then 2-3 inches.

it's about a 3 mile walk to JPJ. all sidewalks through the corner.

But yes, for those whoa re interested, for Cville I always back in the the grassy strip of land that meets the road, gives lots of space for games and grilling, anyone who wants to join, it was a fuckin riot in 2010.

perfect spot...walking distance to all bars on "The Corner" and not too bad of a walk to the Downtown Mall, but a cab ride would be quick too if you'd rather do that

Millers was crazzzy in 2010.

In 2009 my buddy and i went to millers after n1. the place was dead and john d'earth was playing for maybe 15 people.

In 2010 decided to go back for brunch on the morning on n2, and there was over an hour wait. (this was with outdoor seating provided as well)

yeah, not a problem at all. you'll go right, through the corner, past the volleyball/tennis/soccer field. walk across the street to the cav inn, take a right, and walk the rest. JPJ will be on your left

These are all local breweries that make their own beer. I personally like all of them better than starr hill. Cville also has many places with a great selection of micro and craft beers.

i'd say south street as a whole brewery >= star hill. some of their beers are kind of lack luster. solid food though. every time i go their is no cask. assholes.

downtown mall during the winter will have lines like no other with no outside seating. solid idea.
