the venue is a shit hole but they tend to play good shows there. imo, its not worth going if you don't get front GA.

So since this is a stadium and the whole field is open to GA, is it even worth it to put in a WH request for front GA? I would assume the fact that it's a field significantly increases the ticket volume, and I have a lot of people that wanna go, but not everyone can come up with money immediately to give me to cover a potential WH charge. Will I have much trouble finding several extra front GAs for face value well after the public on sale date?

I think GAs well be available after the public on-sale, both front and back. WELL AFTER, I don't know.

dont pay the extra money to push and shove and lose your place to piss

buy back GA, then stand on the concourse at the bottom of the grandstand stairs...you're raised up about 5 ft and you can literally walk all the way to the front. I've done it at the last 3 shows, there's plenty of room and you're a 1min walk to the bathrooms. its perfect

We have gone the last few years. It seemed the attendance was poor last year coming right off of Camden, but the venue usually draws pretty well. I am sure they will miss the sell out, but get over 20,000.

i think so. rear GA has terrible sound and lots of drunk high schoolers/college kids

Don't worry if it's hot. They'll come out and spray down the crowd. Never happened to me but it's been done to the GA field behind the soundboard.

it was disgusting outside. i had to change my shirt twice just in the lots from sweating so much. still not as bad as nats park a few years back

hershey last yr was prob the worst its ever been for me...remember 2009? it was hot as fuck, then got rainy for like 10 mins and fucking freezing...Hershey's weather is strange

Reading through the thread I'm not sure there's a good answer but here goes. Is it even worth considering Hershey with a 9 year old girl & 12 year old boy? They've done Starlake, CMAC and Molson Amph but the chance to see Kool and The Gang has me curious about Hershey. We're used to the drunks but actually get more annoyed by people talking thru the show. Is there any ticket choice that might work?

for you guys I'd go back GA cuz you'll be able to move off to the side...I'd also consider grandstands..they arent as bad as some people say they are, and the crowd up there is generally much better...just make sure you get in the first 3-4 sections of either side if you choose that route

i agree with the grandstands. ive sat there every time I've gone to hershey and never had a bad experience. if u do go GA though I would get front GA not back. the drunk hs/college kids are usually back there cause they can't afford front GA. tons of room in the back of front GA to hang out and walk around.
