we stayed at a hotel last year, i'll have to look at where exactly but it wasn't too far about a 15/20 minute drive near a lot of food/shops/stores.. looking at either booking there again (because of the fridge and AC, of course) but we did also do some traveling, and found some closer hotels.

These show the back, the front, and an up close shot of the small design on the front. Unfortunately my shirt is pretty worn out so you can't see both coffee rings on my front shirt.

Why are we assuming that after years and years of Alpine being Saturday/Sunday that just because for one year they decided to go Friday/Saturday (which no doubt was done to align N2 with the night of the 4th) that it is now going to be the constant?

Just thought id toss that out there.

Well I wouldn't count on the show being as long as last year, but for what's its worth, since I've been going to Alpine in 2006, I think every N2 has been longer than n1 outside of 2008.....

And last year is the first time I've seen a N2 on Saturday, not sure If that was the first N2 Saturday in Alpine history

I might be taking classes this summer so if it were a Friday/Saturday I wouldn't be able to go Friday. But if that's the case, I'll sure as hell still be fine with just one night of alpine!

Same here. I could potentially do a 6-7th alpine. 5-6th absolutely not. Either way id be out for night zero, but oh well in that department.

I'd assume it would go back to Saturday Sunday. I have a feeling last year had a lot to do with the holiday and to get ticket sales. I could be way off though......

Exactly my thinking. Having night 1 be the 4th of july wouldnt have made sense.

I see no other logical why they would have broken tradition (or continue breaking tradition)

Not really completely comparable but it would kinda be like if in 2013 suddenly the gorge wasnt labor day weekend.
