At this point I think the two most likely options are either one night on the 15th or a weekend run for the 27th and 28th. The latter sure seems late but there's literally nothing scheduled for Northerly Island that weekend (as opposed to the 14/15th).

FWIW. I was talking to some of the truck drivers on Thursday and said they had heard about something in Chicago in September. Don't know where they heard from but take it as they acknowledged it over a few drinks!

Yeah, you're right about that. They need at least 2 months. I remember Wrigley was rumored around June and it came out July 4th for sept 17&18.

Don't see the 22nd as farm aid is day before. Hope we get something soon.

Last show in tinley listed is sep 7. Don't see them playing it but who the hell knows, I'll take it just to see another show or 2 and be able to sleep in my own bed that night.

Mid-week two-nighters are possible, just not as common or likely as a weekend.

On that same note, did the original rumor specify 2 shows? I thought the security guard just acknowledged that DMB would be playing the venue.

I emailed the Warehouse and mentioned the rumors. Obviously they wouldn't divulge anything but here's what they had to say:

"This is the first we are hearing of this. We would love it if it were true...but, seriously have not heard anything about it."

Funny when I emailed them to say that my WH were obstructed view at alpine and was pissed I got no response.
