Re: **Deer Creek 2012**

I hate car shopping. I hate car sales men. (No offense to anyone.) If I tell you a certain price I need to stay at or under, don't give me something 3K-6K above what I said.

*le sigh*

the cover art would be fitting of a band like...say...KoRn. Its weird and interesting, that's cool. But if i was in a store looking for a Dave Matthews Band album I wouldn't be looking for anything like this

Yeah the only problem is the brown. I think it's cool because Dave drew it but if it wasnt drawn by Dave I probably wouldn't like it. I'm not surprised people are freaking out that it's the most horrible thing in the world though. I kind of liked the really plain place holder they had reminded me of the Mignonette cover by the Avett Brothers.

Omgzzzzz no hidden image or coffee rings??!!??? This band and album are fucked. This might be the last straw.

Too bad the last straw has been seemingly holding on for a few years with some if these people.

Pretty soon people will be saying that it's worse than everyday's cover. Yay let's get a band photo in black and white and slap it on the front. Pretty freakin original.

To those Belly Belly Nice lyrical elitists...i say this. DMB has a song in a very similar vein that contains this (among other stuff) in its song, that is considers top tier and "classic"

Straight in, suck up and go
    Cool it, swallow, swallow
    Breathe deep, take it all
    It comes cheap

Also spends a lot of time just saying "suck it up" over and over. This song should be considered "Horrible" then, amirite?

You would get one of three responses from the great posters on this site.

    Or

    No your opinion sucks

    Or

They just would ignore your rationality and keep living in a dream world.

What they mean by these responses is that no it is great because it was written in 1996.

Are you going for new? That shit drives me crazy (pun intended). Show me my price range. I'll ask you questions. We'll test drive. If i haven't covered anything in my questioning, tell me 'bout it then.

I'm not really big on new cars. They're nice, but going for something 1-3 years old used...saves some $$$ and you've got a solid good vehicle (i'm not a big car person, so i'm probably easier to please). I went to Car Max for my current vehicle (bought it in 2008). They truly don't fuck around there.

This is what usually happens. Any thread. someone makes a well placed argument. Shows they have some debate skills and would truly like to discuss it. And rather than concede or see through that way...or for the love of god - research, do some work and make an intelligible counter argument...nobody responds.

I will go check out Car Max then. Yeah not brand new, but between 20007-2011 depending on the car and mileage and what not. I have been looking at Fusion's and Focus's a lot. I really like both of those cars. Also Jetta's and Passat's. I checked out one 08 G6. It was nice. Also some 2011 Impala's, very very nice.

We will see. Just drives me nuts, causse I am not a mean person, and it's hard for me to be like, okay no, that's not what I asked for. >.< I need my Dad here, how sad is that.

I agree with this. I think it's neat, but makes me wonder if Dave ever draws anything that doesn't look like this stuff, lol, jk jk.

With a title like, "Away From The World" I wanted something.....prettier I guess, IDK maybe I am just being a girl about it.

Gonna add a footnote that my carmax experience was in Burbank, CA. So, if its different for you, i send some apologies.

My wife has a G6, awesome little vehicle it is. I almost went for a Jetta when I went car shopping.

Gaucho's verses and the bridge are some really good lyrics. That chorus just doesn't fit with them. The quality of going from one to the other is just a gaping inconsistency. And its a bit too on the nose and dumb sounding for my personal taste.

2011 will run you about $300 a month, unless you are outright buying. I really like the Fusion's. SHarp, reliable, great on gas, and pretty safe. Plenty of room for kids too.

The G6 I looked at is 4 door, not a coupe, and I was actually surprised by the size of the back seat. It was pretty nice, only thing that worries me is safety.

I like Jetta's. Nice and very safe. Good looking, well made cars.

I was never on debate team, but it was one of my favorite classes in high school. I convinced my whole class that Courtney Love had Kurt Cobain murdered and won the debate for my midterm (got an A). And...yeah, there's my age showing

    1. When did you graduate HS?

    2. I was 5 when he died.

I was on debate, scholar bowl, engineering team, business team, math team....and so on. BUT I looked good while doing it all. LOL

I graduated in 2000. I can tell you where I was and what I was doing when I found out he died, big deal for my generation...well, if you weren't wasting your time on rap.

I was an A/V dork. Also in drama. I played basketball and football early on, but quit them for the former. Boy did that send my parents for a loop

My ONLY complaint with AFtW is that it's not BTCS

Is that really too much to ask?
