Scored tickets to the STL show. Only problem is due to a couple of odd events I ended up with two pairs of tickets. I need to unload one. I've got them listed as face on Stubhub & eBay. I don't care which pair we keep but I can't keep both.

If anyone knows anyone or wants a pair of the seats let me know and I'll hook you up!

Was just reading some reviews of the Louisville show on U2gig.com and I got chills when someone reminded me about the huge FedEx 747 that did a low flyover of the stadium during the intro of Where The Streets Have No Name. Cool crowd moment. Great show. Should be closing each show with I Will Follow or something upbeat from Achtung Baby instead of Vertigo though.

the screen is dark until WTSHNN starts; when it lights up it's a very visceral experience. you just aren't prepared for that size of screen even though it's been in front of you the entire time.

Yah I'm looking forward to the screen, and also disappointed to see A Sort of Homecoming has dropped off the setlists of late and I Will Follow in the encore replaced with Vertigo.

Actually Ultraviolet just popped back up last night, hope I get that.

I have floors for Toronto on Friday night so hoping to get around 20 peeps deep from the main stage opposite side from the red zone, i know I'm not getting railed as the GA line starts at 10AM and I"m getting there around 6:25pm.

Would have personally taken A Sort of Homecoming into Bad instead of Bad into Pride in Louisville but I love all those songs. I Will Follow sends the crowd off buzzing. Vertigo doesn't reach that same level at all for me. I was surprised how good of a spot I got showing up around 6:15 for GA. Ended up very close to B stage but with a nice vantage of the main stage as well.

pride is getting played no matter what. the choice is between bad/ASOH. I choose bad every time but get that others prefer ASOH.

I wish tickets weren't so ridiculously priced. I would have loved to see these guys again. Only time I saw them was in '97 for the Popmart Tour. Say what you will about that album, but damn was that a spectacle. Incredible show. I really wish I liked their newer stuff, but they lost me after How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, which I actually liked, but unfortunately it doesn't really hold up for me anymore. They have such a specific sound that I really have to be in the mood for them. However, I am always in the mood for Achtung Baby. Think that's my favorite album of theirs.

I like The Blackout much better than any first listen we got from the last two albums. Nice mix of Achtung baby/Pop sound with Adam's old school driving bass line. Excited to hear the rest and get a big tour next year. Really need an NC date. 360 show Raleigh 09 was a long time ago.

Elevation is catchy & fun. Vertigo/Get on your Boots/Miracle of Joey Ramone are just sad attempts at the same formula IMO.

Was a bit bummed we got Vertigo closer in Louisville, could have used I Will Follow to send us out buzzing.
