I don't know man, in 2004 is voice held up pretty well, he hit the high notes on Satellite. It depends on how many shows they play, the reason his voice was shot in 02' was they had played so many damn shows that year without enough breaks.

As I recall, they said the same thing last year. Which turned out to be GGP, the festival in NYC (which didn't pan out for whatever reasons), Warehouse preferred lawn area, and the giveaways for Warehouse members at concerts.

This guy's rumors are usually pretty accurate. He has a weekly column and almost always has a rumors and hearsay section at the end, and the rumors usally become fact during the next week or so.

Well, if there is a show at redrocks. How would you go about getting tickets. This place is so small I have the fear of it getting sold out. If i didnt get tickets I would definately spend hundreds outside the gates to get a seat.

How great it would be... The problem would be that everyone and their bother would want to go to the show. To get tickets would almost be impossible and you have to think that scalpers are going to get there hands on a good amount of them.

However, it would be worth the risk to me. I am one of the lucky ones who have seen DMB at Red Rocks a good amount of times. I will always remember the rain show in 98, when Popper played with them in 97... What I will always remember and know for sure would never happen again is getting a ticket to the show in 95 the day of the show for 15.00 bucks ... Wow, what a deal !!!

I hope it happens but I am not holding my breath on this one

Well there is no reason for them not to. If some of the venues they're playing at soon in Australia hold around 3,000 then they can pull off Red Rocks.

but the demand in austrailia is much less, its not whether they play, its whether or not they want to play in such a small venue when they can fill one over twice its size

Australia has a population of 20 million people. The U.S is over ten times that at 250 million+ people. The amount of fans in Australia still sold out those 3,000 seat shows.
It goes without saying (though I'm saying it anyways) that Red Rocks @ 9,000 seats would sell out in less than 2 minutes...my guesstimate.
I don't think you can compare Australia with the US in terms of venue size and fan base.
