The only thing with these live trax dvds is they only show close ups of individual band members---no wide shots of whole band or crowd

There prob isn't much if any wide shots since the footage used is designed for the screens, not an actual release

There is definitely a wide shot of the band, just not a huge variety. I do wish they had a bunch of shots from different spots in the venue...I'd love to see a shot from the top of the hill in the lawn, and more diverse shots of the pavilion. It is definitely a missed opportunity but I'm still really excited for this release.

Preordered today for the acoustic set and bonus disc from n1. They did some cool things like the a Captain reprise and LITHOG into DIDO. Great representation of n1. Looking forward to this one for sure.

Finally went ahead and did the pre-order since they are offering free shipping for $100+ orders. I don't think they will be offering any other deals in the mean time... and I want the 8 bonus tracks and the WH is the only place you can get it. Music today might have a Black Friday code that you can use but you wouldnt get the full bonus...

I love how they included a change in wording (at least since I last purchased) that now they will NOT change pre-orders. It always said all sales are final, but people would always call and change haha. Hopefully I don't get screwed and they offer an even better deal...but I wnat the calendar and cards as well

i kind of like it being all close-ups.....im not horribly interested in the "scale" of a show when Im watching a video of it, I'm more interested in long lingering shots on musicians in their element....especially when you catch them nodding to each other or egging each other on with some in-joke that you might miss with a bunch of crowd shots. basically, i for one like the way these live trax dvds have been shot.

only wish on WWYS is an additional different angle on carter, but that's the angle they've got, they didn't film him from another angle so it is what it is...if it was a "intentionally pro shot" dvd you'd get that, but hey it is what it is.

Stefan sounds nice and loud on the DDTW vid...love it!

I also really like how Dave sings the "or I will bury you" part...sounds a lot different but really good.

Okay this was pretty spectacular. When did Dave start singing the falsetto on hooommmmeee again? Also, Boyd playing the star spangled banner at the end is kind of awesome. I kind of got the chills watching this, I will definitely be buying this.

since he got the new vocal coach in 2014 i believe.... DDTW and Crash he sings it in falsetto which makes both songs much better in a live setting

It probably makes it easier for him to hit the falsetto, he's scooping into the note but landing on the "Oooo" vowel correctly

I love this version and I like how he changes up the melody on some parts especially the "I have no time to justify to you fool your blind..." that sounds so awesome and powerful but honestly whoever says the falsetto parts of "home" are good has to be either lying or deaf because dave sounds like a cat giving birth on those parts. Its honestly cringeworthy. I don't remember it being that bad at the show but god damn those parts sound awful. I used to love when he would growl out "hooooommeeee" especially at the "cause your all dead now" part but yeah looks like those days are gone. It sounds like he's not even trying to say the word home, idk what the fuck is coming out of his mouth during that part but its heinous. I'm a huge fan of the newer 3.0 electric sound of DDTW and this would probably be my favorite version if he just started yelling again.
