One reason I don't post a lot of rumors is because they are seldom accurate - I would say most rumors tend to have like a 25% accuracy rate. I heard at the end of last year that RR95 was coming on vinyl this year along with Crash, but you see how that worked out.

I am going to be back in my hometown visiting my parents, so I called up the stores I visited while in college. One hasn't gotten back to me, but the other went off on the belief that this isn't a true RSD belief because it wasn't made available to them to order. Not sure how accurate that statement is, but this guy seemed pretty butt-hurt. Started saying how difficult Dave is to work with on stuff like this, and when I said the distribution was probably more of a label issue, he said "they never do anything he doesn't want them to do". I'd be surprised to learn that band even knows/gives a damn about this release.

People are so dumb. It can be assured that Dave has absolutely zero control in any of the situation. The guy just doesn't like DMB and is taking it out on the distribution channels.

Does the regular DMB store carry the RSD LTs or is it just the Warehouse? I'm hoping to get LT 5 on black wax but cancelled my Warehouse membership earlier this year. Wasn't sure if they made it available through any store outside of Warehouse.

From what I recall its Warehouse that carries the black ones. If I can buy more than one when the black ones go on sale I can grab one for you.

How many do most stores get?

All the record stores are a bit far and not sure I will be able to get away from the in laws

What time do people line up/do you need to get there early?

My husband worked at Meadow Brook in high school so I really want to get this for his collection

All of those answers vary depending on location. Higher volume stores tend to get more copies than others. Some stores there are crowds lined up all around the building (Amoeba in Hollywood), some small town shops might not have a line at all, but likely won't get many copies.

Call ahead. Some clerks are nice and will tell you. Others will say they can't tell you, and some simply won't know.
