Re: Pregnancy? help
I took a human sexuality class back at good old Western Illinois.. haha.. anyways our teacher who was this older woman, dressed like a sex nymph, and was awesome told us about the time she had to teach sex ed class in high school, i think and hope.. but none the less, she proceeded to tell us about how a day she had to talk about birth control, what kind to use, what is out there, most effective.. etc. etc. and a few weeks later one of her students, a girl, raised her hand and said something about "does using sperm jelly cause infections?" because she had been having uncomfortable feelings/infection down there.. and she said "no not usually.." this girl proceeds to tell her "well i know how you said to use jelly as a spermacide, and it has to be inserted a spoon full or so the vagina.. well i went to the fridge and got a spoon full of JELLY, and have been doing it but it seems to be making me sore, uncomfortable and inflammed." the teacher said she pulled her aside at the end of class and explained the use of spermacidal jelly not grape jelly was to be used and maybe she should talk to her doctor before she partakes in anymore sexual activity... and we wonder how people are stupid enough to get pregnant... ! true story, our class was roaring with laughter, and the teacher thought of it as a great learning experience for all and has used the story every since that day.
