Adidas new throw back jerseys for next year. Like most of them (except for miami) but I think they shorts are hideous (see Kansas).

Not a big fan of the cream color. If they were pure white they would look a lot better. With that said the black Louisville jerseys are the best IMO. Damn those are awesome.

Harry Giles just underwent his 3rd knee surgery in three years. Expected to be out for about six weeks. Kid can't stay healthy.

He's overrated honestly. Idt it will hurt them as much as fans may think. It will allow for others to fill the position (mainly Kenny Williams) and gain some experience early in the season and grow up sooner than expected.

Injuries are never good, however sometimes they can become a blessing in disguise. Hopefully he recovers quickly and effectively, and UNC may become a better team because of it.

Yep. This is correct. Luckily with bball the most important part of the season is the last two months. He should be available by then, and the others will be thrown into fire more by then as well.

My team is loaded with a bunch of young talented 4 stars. No five stars. I actually think not having Newman will help team dynamics. Newman had skills but he just thought he was so much better then everybody else on the team and he really wasn't.

we won't have to wait long to find out. Kansas vs. Duke in Champions Classic on November 15th.

pinson shot at a better clip than nate britt at a comparable amount of shots

it's also not like the only thing you need to do is shoot. pinson averaged a few assists per game, probably more than anyone other than berry/paige

It will be a fun "big name" game early in the season, but won't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things.

Kansas @ Kentucky in January will be a lot more telling.

By 2% last year and Britt was better the year before. And he averaged an assist more per game than Britt...meh.

Pinson is a role player, but he's replaceable. Easily replaceable. I actually thought they were better when he wasn't on the floor last year, and don't think they'll miss much without him. Just my opinion.
