I really like it. Can't wait to drink some during the summer. Feels like a summer beer to me.

KBS hit locally this morning...and I am striking out BIG time. Lot's of truck chasers out and about...and the one place I always count on for rare releases decided to do a list this year and I had no idea. Usually they just keep the good stuff in the back, and you just have to ask for it.

I think it just depends on when distributors get it to stores in your local area. Trucks just hit this area today.

Guy I work with has a case of Heady and is trading me a four pack for last year's KBS, this year's KBS and a can each of Evil Twin Molotove Lite and Bell's Two Hearted. Solid trade I think.

One store here did a case limit on KBS, guess they didn't want to deal with the hassle.

    Damn...you get a case?

I was only able to snag 1 KBS single. And 5 bottles of Sunday Morning. And another blushing monk. And a Rhinegeist Equinox.

    Not too shabby.

I agree here. We again had a couple cans of Sip last night at tasting and for me it just didn't measure up to beers like Epiphany, Trillium Upper Case, Trillium Galaxy Fort Point, Heady, and Focal Banger. I ended up giving the only can my buddy grabbed for me to another buddy who came later in the evening and missed that portion of the tasting. It's a really good beer and I would never refuse it, but it's not something I'm going to actively seek...particularly because there are several beers from that region alone that seem to be better.

Places should have started receiving/selling it yesterday. Shops in Michigan got it 2 weeks ago.

    I'm reading it like:

Russo gets: 4 pack of Heady
His buddy gets: 2014 KBS x1 2015 KBS x1, Molotov Lite can, Two Hearted.

So essentially it's a four pack of Heady for 2 bottles of KBS because Molotov Lite and Two Hearted are fairly easy to get either via trade or shops.

I'd say that's fairly even, although I'm not sure i'd give up 2 bottles of KBS for a 4 pack of heady. Maybe 6 cans for 2 bottles. I'm nitpicking....it's close enough.

I don't always keep track of $4$ in trades. There are many trades I've done that i've gone over $4$ and others where I come out ahead. I recently traded a box of 12 FFF beers for 12 cans of Heady and 2 SoS. I'm sure I was probably $20-$30 over on $4$ but to me it's usually just about the beer. Maybe that's a bad philosophy?

I agree. if it's beer that's tough to get and you have a chance, why not make the trade?

I'm getting my SOS this weekend!

just joined a local beer trading group on Facebook, and I offered up HF Dorothy (wasnt a huge fan) and a Southern Tier Rum Barrel Aged Pumking, just to see what I could get. Best offer so far is 3 12 oz bottles of Ballast Point VAS and 2 cans of On the Wings of Armageddon for both the ST and the HF

    thoughts?

    Yea it's 4 for 4

I don't trade much and this guy saved me the trouble of shipping stuff. Plus he's a coworker and is gonna score me another interview with a WWE super star most likely so it's worth the trade

This as well. I may make a Vermont trip this summer but he said he's going up there too. I may just give him money and see if he can get an extra case
