Actually, they didn't play Friday night last year, so theory broken? I think Dave just gives them Friday night off so they can take in George. He wouldn't make them trek up to Vancouver without having them swing back through Washington. They'll be back on stage tonight. ()

I said the same thing to my friend last night. Not that that would ever happen, but I'm hoping for a BTCS marathon these next two nights. I feel like last nights show was a tip of the hat to last years weekend, since there were SO MANY REPEATS.

Yes! it does seem like almost all of the songs could be played over the next two concerts. I would be surprised if The stone is skipped; Spoon also seems like it will at least be played in the wonderful solo acoustic way that has happened recently!

Yes! i did get into phish this year partially thanks to you! a very perfect complement to revisiting DMB last year. their strengths make up for the other's limits... Phish of course, what are their limits? If anything it is that there are different emotions and sounds that DMB does so well... I think they are exceptional at working heavy emotions and catharsis into the songs that isn't overbearing; they both "exorcise" something, they shine light on different parts of the listeners/concertgoers emotions and set them stirring in uniquely wise ways.

Last night was #50 if you do the math from Night 1 of 2012 was show number 41 hence they opened with it.

Yeah, it was kind of boring. Nothing that bad, but nothing that great, either. As a matter of personal preference, I just don't feel YMDT, Recently and Mercy, so those songs hurt the show flow for me. I feel okay about it because I am going the next two nights as well so I am sure I will get some amazing moments in there. I do feel bad for anyone who only got to go last night.
