I can't sing though I try to I enjoy the guitar though. Nothing ridiculous but examples that come to mind are the slides in BOWA where he isn't sliding where I am and is sliding where I'm not, and one transition with LIOG. I probably should have noticed these a lot earlier. I probably learned them from some crap tab book way back when. Just two examples where I was listened and went...huh, I'm playing that wrong.

Haha well I will say I'm lucky in that I have a lot of ties to Berklee and have now been taking vocal training for 8 years, I really think everyone can sing to some degree but it takes a while to figure out how. I've definitely learned DMB songs incorrectly and played them for a long time incorrectly as well so you aren't alone there. The riff of The Stone being the main example, was hitting the right notes but the first two were way too slow. LIOG is a blast to play!

I'm loving this release! I'm going on my third listen of it and, for someone who just started guitar lessons, being able to hear the bare bones of so many classics acoustically is pretty awesome. Also, how Dave just casually and easily goes from one hit to another with this show, it's pretty incredible! Great release!

That's awesome! I'd like to think you're right with singing but I don't have a lot of vocal confidence. I agree, I had the right notes but I wasn't playing the songs the "Dave" way. LIOG is one of my favs too

What an awesome release. That truncated Warehouse though... After all of the magic leading up to that point, and after, and I'm over here like, "you didn't finish Warehouse!" Pretty much the way I feel every time they leave off the Lie in Our Graves reprise nowadays.

Happy listening, everybody! This is a good one.

I had fallen out of listening to DMB in the past couple of years.. This release turned that around.

I still love the band, and appreciate that they still get out there and perform every year.. But it's releases like this that remind me why I became engrossed in this music growing up.

    Very solid stuff.

Warehouse and Ants are two songs on this where I was expecting so much more whereas other songs blow my mind that I generally don't like as much

    Well said.

Seek Up isn't a favorite of mine (I know, I know) but this version is really stellar.
Graves IS a favorite of mine, and this version lives up to my expectations.

I love the times where he would preface the song with "this is a song about no regrets and being dead"

First chance to listen to this start to finish. Just wow. Can't say anything that hasn't already been said here. Fantastic

Highlights for me are Recently, Typical, Blue Water, LIOG(my favorite dmb song), great Seek Up, beautiful rendition of IBYU, and that Watchtower is on point. Just wow. Listening start to finish, the whole thing is just great. Couldn't be happier with this release/purchase

Only half way through the full listen, and I'm blown away. Fantastic release.

Excellent version of Jimi. This reminds me once again how much I really do love that song and how much I miss WWBOM. Damn, that needs to come back.

Awesome release. Can't help but laugh at Dave when he starts meowing at the crowd! hahaha Also, there is definitely people shouting After Her at the end of #36, about 2 minutes left in the recording. Cant hear it it clearly on the laptop or in the car, but definitely can with my headphones.
