been to 69 DMB shows, most of them in the lawn, did blossom lawn one time 7/30/08 and it was BY FAR the worst lawn I have ever experienced.

long story short, several high schoolers showed up, many of which didn't have a ticket. started getting rowdy, older guy who was there with his wife asked them to settle down, and one of the kids told him to shut the fuck up before he knocked him the fuck out. I ended up watching the last few songs from the very top of lawn, couldn't even see the band. all around terrible time.

Plus the way 8 travel to get home would be west of star lake thru Burgettstown, then south. If I enter star lake from Robinson, they will make me exit east away from Burgettstown. That won't work very well for me.

ahh yea it'll be a longer drive to actually get to your hotel but the logistics of staying in Robinson are probably better though. also...

yea it's such a crap shoot on the lawn. in 2014, i was on the lawn at Starlake and we were around the coolest people. just chill, into the show, easy to make friends with. but 2015 was the polar opposite

if they do the acoustic set again, there's no way i can do lawn. they lose the crowd for the most part and it's impossible to hear

Theres a holiday in express (I think) right off of the three springs road (basically weirton just at the top of the mountain) exit. Theres some food there and a sheetz. Thats a good spot if you dont wanna drive past the venue.

It depends.

If you take I-70 directly to I-79 and head north from Washington, PA, no you will not pass Star Lake.

If you take US-22 from Cambridge, OH through Steubenville and Weirton, yes you will pass Star Lake getting to Robinson.

I will echo the fact that Blossom lawn is the worst lawn I've been in. So many super drunk teenagers who don't even realize there is a concert going on. I was there with a group for 7 and we were standing next to each the entire show but there was a group of asshole 17-19 yr olds who kept walking through us. Basically ruined the show.

Starlake on the other hand, I was did lawn there up until about 3 years ago. Lots of fun, but now I try to pit seats.
