Yeah, it's just too hard to make it to the SoCal shows now that I live up in the Pacific Northwest. I had hoped to make it down but I'm getting married in September and all our money is going towards that.

Hopefully I'll make a return next year. Once of my best friends recently moved from SF to San Diego and I could stay with her for free.

I would try to get Pit tickets again through the warehouse, but if i dont get pit id rather be in the lawn with my friends.... so this sucks. I dont want to get stuck with stupid reserved.... gah stupid warehouse.

Hmmmmm. Try for pit. If you don't get, trade your reserved for lawn plus the $$$ diff......I don't know. I agree. WH. I'd rather get pit or declined, but might be able to trade easily.....

Last year TM had pit drops. Thought it was a pretty easy pit ticket to get, post WH...

Ended up getting some nice section 202 seats (via Citi presale), but then upon further searching got a couple of pit tickets. I've never done pit before, but couldn't resist the temptation. Still not sure I'd want to stand that whole time... still thinking about it.

If I decide against it, I figure there's plenty of people here who will take them off my hands I know pit is will-call only with photo ID, but what's the policy/process of meeting someone beforehand and handing them off before the show? Do they continue to check ID all the way into the pit?

You can pick them up and hand them off to someone. I got a pit ticket last year that way. Hopefully I can get another one this year the same way. Let me know, I'd gladly buy them.

I've been a long time DMB fan, and a long time antsmarching.org org member (I think over 10 years now!)...and now I live in L.A. doing my own acoustic rock-singer-songwriter thing...so for ALL you fellow DMB So.Cal. & CA fans in-general who are getting geared up for the boys of DMB to make their way to CA in September come and watch me play some of their tunes LIVE in and around the L.A./So.Cal. area over the next 3 months at least...I've been playing DMB for over 10 years now and I know and will play plenty of DMB covers to wet your pallet until they arrive!
