Enjoy tomorrow (today for you sticklers out there). Really, I mean it. Enjoy it. Drink beer, if you're legal, eat a lot, watch some football, and overall be with family. Perfect holiday, in my opinion.

    5K run first thing in the morning, pancake breakfast at grandma's, 2 hour drive to a log cabin in the woods followed by turkey, football, and a long weekend of skiing, shopping, hot tubbing and Halo with my brothers and cousins. Fuck yeah, Thanksgiving rocks!

    I'm the second oldest cousin out of about 15 now, anyway, 360 is a big hit with them, and now my uncle is getting into the act. We always play each other in madden every thanksgiving. It's become quite a tradition. He's always the Colts. I hate Peyton.

    I'm going to convince them killing zombies is more fun. left 4 dead should make the hours fly by. it won't matter if they suck because they come back to life. and if they die you can keep playing, it's perfect.

    If I were to go back in time 600 years, I wonder if I could adequately prepare the Native Americans to fend off the European aggressors. After learning to speak, I'd imagine the hardest part would be coordinating communication between the disparate tribes spread across several thousand miles of coastline. Combating foreign diseases would be difficult as well, and I can only hope that the basics of epidemiology would be sufficient to avert complete catastrophe. At the very least, preventing the return of Christopher Columbus would be easy enough. I wonder how much time that would buy...

After learning to speak, I'd imagine the hardest part would be coordinating communication between the disparate tribes spread across several thousand miles of coastline. Combating foreign diseases would be difficult as well, and I can only hope that the basics of epidemiology would be sufficient to avert complete catastrophe. At the very least, preventing the return of Christopher Columbus would be easy enough. I wonder how much time that would buy...

    This is completely baseless but I feel like I'd have pretty good survival chances landing in 15th century America, at least compared to Europe. Look at how they greeted Columbus, after all.
