A regular at the bar I used to work at would always Chuck Mangione - Feels so Good around midnight every Friday night. It actually did a good job weeding out the people that nobody wanted there. Everyone else knew it was a regular occurrence

There isn't a universe where you could be more wrong. Any track from Bat Out of Hell could be played on repeat and it wouldn't upset me one bit. However, playing I Would Do Anything For Love is not acceptable.

I played Last Stop from Wrigley when I was blacked out at one of Iowa City's more hipster bars. Zero shame, it was awesome.

My local World of Beer just plays some XM radio station, but we always hear a DMB song or two every time we go there. Typically ones like Two Step, Too Much, Jimi Thing, Tripping Billies, etc.

Oddly enough, studio Spoon played there one night, including the Last Stop reprise. I was stunned.

This thread makes me laugh. I was a bartender for a year at a place with Touch Tunes and I've heard so many bad songs. This old, rich white guy around 55 would come in and play Tracy Chapman's Fast Car multiple times in a row. Talking 4 or so times and ask for me to turn up the volume because we were the only ones able to. He would often hand us $5 or so to turn it up. We also had a remote that would allow us to skip songs and sometimes we would use it and he'd get so pissed. Other people would freak out when it came on the second or third time. Of course they'd complain and I'd have to tell them sorry. They always asked who played it too.
