I agree! At the time I was stoked to have a 2 night release, but the set and sound from N1 are not worth listening to. N2 at least has a good mixed up set, and a great encore. That Seek Up jam with Boyd is very good.

IIRC, we got Down By The River both nights. Still a cool tune.

Personally, I don't like repetitive sets and songs, no matter what year they are from. I like new releases to have a lot of songs we have not gotten yet in the LT series. Some more releases with more of the ATW songs would be great, as would releases with a newer version of songs that are non album songs.

    Amen! Fantastic version!

Also, I'm surprised it's a relatively unpopular opinion around here to like this song... I think it's flippin' awesome and I love every released version we have! Great guitar riff, beautiful melodies, lyrics that invoke great imagery, gorgeous Sax lines, and the song is right in Dave's vocal wheelhouse.

I'd like to add the greatness of Carter and Stefan on this song!

Boyd's part is straightforward, but I have to say he's spot on too. Really a great live version...I love the Grace noodling at the end and the segue into Prelude. Prelude is awesomeness as well - one of my favorite pieces of music by this band.

Can I cancel my 32 preorder? I'll just listen to 31.

i work at an equipment warehouse/production studio, and getting to play this over the house speakers in the state of the art studio is simply breathtaking.

Listening to LT31 a bit today. The FishTender combo was perfection in 2001.

Having 29, 30 and 31 back to back was a nice run. Too bad 32 killed it.

If the last 5 LT releases were a setlist run (28, 29, 30, 31, and 32), they would look something like this:

    Dancing Nancies >
    Warehouse >
    The Stone
    Typical Situation
    Can't Stop (feat. Lovely Ladies)

Is there unique album art for the bonus disc which comes with this, or is it just an additional CD in the same case?

Ah, thanks. They do say "bonus disc" on the store webpage, so that got me confused for a second.

Just listened to this over the weekend. Good show, great mix. Dave's voice sounds much better on Folsom for some reason to me. But still a good release.

This one definitely cracks my top 10. Dave's voice is stellar, the band is on point, the mix is incredible, and the set is pretty solid for a 2001 show. Not to mention, the third disc with performances from the other shows is the shit.

Even this version of Everyday has me saying wow

    i agree with all of that. the bonus disc is huge, really good stuff on there. i think i would still take these full band LT's over it tho. LT's 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, and 30.

not saying lt31 isn't awesome. i just think the above are more awesome. oh yeah, forgot about lt33. it gets the nod too because of that ridiculously cool soundcheck jam. what an incredible piece of music, i have no idea why that didn't turn into something more
