    Minarets just hits me in a way no other DMB song does. Loved hearing it as an opener this last tour. JTR is my go to jazzy DMB song and I love it, but Minarets wins this duel for me.

    i voted Minarets, but not from the album I enjoy Minarets a lot more on live versions. "2014 Minarets live Yes please"

    John is a good song also I have been playing it a lot more lately.

    I think JTR may win this because it's a song that has a lot of universally appealing qualities whereas minarets is without a doubt less accessible. JTR is a riff driven song with a catchy chorus, great breakdown, and a killer end jam. It's a very "dmb" song, has all the core qualities. I love minarets, but I think it's easy to see why JTR would be the more popular choice and the better song. Don't think rareness has anything to do with it.

    I struggled with this until I just watched this tonight...Minarets.

    I mean, shit, where did THESE guys go??? 03 needs way more love than it gets. I'm so glad I was a fan in this era, such amazing performances back then. Not to sound cynical, but can you imagine if Dave actually could write a song as good as Minarets for the new album. That would be incredible.
