    Game last night was disappointing. The playoff buzz created a fun, energetic atmosphere in and around Wrigley. After Soler hit the laser to left, things just felt right. I was bummed I didn't get to see the celebration on the field and winning the division was bittersweet. We had just pulled into town as the Giants won. I did walk with David Ross (he took the L to the game) as we approached Wrigley, so that was pretty cool.

    I think Montero has earned himself a spot on the playoff roster for veteran leadership if nothing else.

    Just to be clear by "stumbling", he was walking home watching the scores through the windows of the various bars and stopped in at one once he saw the score to celebrate. It's not like he was stumbling around Wrigleyville drunk. Not even implying that's what you meant, just to clarify for anyone who isn't familiar with the players and neighborhood.

    Heading up to Chicago for tomorrow's game. Haven't done a Friday in the bleachers in years!! Excited to see how they've changed. Huskers playing at Northwestern, so there's going to be a lot of non-Cardinal red at Wrigley. Let's Go!!
