WH Lawn was surprisingly crowded pretty early each night. We never made it in time for Lone Bellow (were they good?), so our goal was to find a landmark on top of the hill and line up with that. That strategy worked pretty well! Man that hill can be daunting mid-show. Almost always takes a few minutes to find your group.

But man do I love that lawn! Went down to the pit briefly on N2, but decided to return to the lawn pretty quickly. People seem a bit more appreciative and grateful on the lawn.

yeah they do, and it's really annoying. i love the sea of regular glowsticks, and seeing all the crazy things people create with the ones they collect

lone below was pretty good, lake street drive were so much better and so much more fun though

Glow sticks are fine and add to the experience. Unless they're whipped in your face.

You don't want to be that guy at a Phish show, and throw them at the wrong time.

Things got really out of hand in 2012 or '13. There were just too many. I remember Dave catching one of them in between songs. I also remember some random guy complaining one night that their group had 18,000 glowsticks taken from them coming in that night.

I was behind the stage for one of the MSG shows last year and some dude hurled one past the stage area, must've missed Trey's head by less than a foot. Some people...

I don't think anyone does glowsticks quite as well as the Phish fanbase does. I love how at the more blissful moments everyone lets them go. Makes it look like the sky is dancing. Lights out jam from Gorge this year:

I don't think D&T shut anybody up. D&T isn't DMB.

I'm also not trying to be rude. Just saying that I think many of us assumes there would be some D&T shows popping up...

Completely agree. And while I absolutely love D&T, I'd be a lot more inclined to drop the cash if it were DMB instead.

I'll hold out for more local D&T shows.

If you're on the Pilgramage to the Gorge fb page you might've already heard about this...but i got hit in the forehead with Carter's stick on saturday night and have about a 1 inch cut. Also, did anyone else think Carters intro on DDTW was 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover? It's definitely just Lover Lay Down picked back up, but 2-3 of us in our group each thought it was Paul Simon at the time. Not sure how they would've sounded on it anyway, so prob good that it wasn't.
