I probably overpaid.. when I couldn't get anything on the public sale I got GA Floor off StubHub for $150 a piece. At least it wasn't double and I have the tickets though. It's my best friend's birthday so I hope Dave brings a surprise show of epic proportions. But if not, it's Dave and that's aweseome

Wow didn't realize it was going to be so rough to get decent tix for this show, I figured the pit would be pretty big! Lucky i got my WH confirmation for 4 of them.

This will be my first time at the venue, can anyone recommend any places to go before hand/ where the best place to line up to enter early is?

The Greatest Bar had a DMB pre-party back in 2010 so they may do that again. That bar is right down the street.

Well around there. I think after fees I was sitting at $328 and some change for 2. But I had to get them, no negotiation. The show is ON her birthday. If that wasn't the case I probably would've gone for Duluth instead. Still might try to make that show also if I can fund it.

Hey guys I got tickets for Boston and Manchester, I've heard about how the sound sucks in Manchester but I haven't really heard anything about how the Garden is and I've never been to a concert there. Any input? I'm in section 9. Thanks

    sounds good. i wish i was 21

i really want to go to this show, but i only want good lower loge seats. uppers aren't really worth it for the price. $100 for a lower loge ticket, $90 for an uppers ticket. it's really making me rethink going to a show this winter. i live in between manchester nh and boston so i thought i'd have two shows to go to. now i'm debating even going to one show. $100 is bullshit

I'm thinking the secondary market might end up being dirt cheap for this show closer to the date of the show. Neither show came close to selling out in 2010. I'm going to wait and see what prices are looking like in December.

Debating the same thing. Didn't have the $$$ to throw at tickets last week when they went on sale. Checked out what was left and for two tickets in the nose bleeds it's almost $200! What the hell? I want to go so bad as I missed them this summer. Used to live in Nashua but just moved down to Wilmington...thinking about just going to Manch cause the tickets are a little cheaper. Just can't decide cause Manch is on a Wed. in the middle of the work week and I work in Boston. Just too expensive this year. If that were the price for two tickets on the floor then I would say definitely, but to sit that far up for that price?

If any Ants are going solo (or are interested regardless!) we should meet up beforehand, I don't mind setting up a contact sheet if enough people are interested! . Can't wait for this show!

I'll be bringing the GF to her first show, but I would love to organize an Ants meetup at a bar or something beforehand! I think the local DMB cover band is having a show at The Greatest Bar, so thats an option!

I keep hearing about this "Greatest Bar". I feel like it's something I need to see while I'm up there.

Sounds great! I'll make a contact sheet later on tonight or tomorrow, and we will plan on the Greatest Bar since they may do the "official preparty" again like in 2010.

On other topics, this storm that's coming in next week reminds me of fuckin' Irene last year and how it rescheduled the DMB Caravan at Governor's

On the plus side though, Dave did a cover of "Like a Hurricane" which is unlikely to happen again anytime soon (and it was good..) and Randall's was a pretty solid three days.

Okay great! Since a few of you have responded and are in favor of the idea, if you want to PM me your e-mail addresses that should be a good way of getting started!

I can create an excel sheet, then update it and post asking if anyone else wants to join in on our gathering.

Closer to the show we can figure out a time then I'll send the group e-mail out!

When I went to the Ants Bethel tailgate last summer they created a Google Docs sheet but I do not know how to.

Awesome! I remember my first DMB show when I was 21 (only 23 now ). I definitely splurged and got one of those $10 frozen margarita things "because I could" .
