    If my buddy in Albany bails on me I'm driving to Peekskill and taking train down Friday morning. Coming back Saturday. If that happens I'll need someone to hand me aspirin on way back.

    There's a nice bar/restaurant named "Mullanes" about ten minutes from Barclays. Website says "Just two blocks from Barclays." I'd say it's two and a half long blocks north of the arena.

    I've been there many times, with small and large groups. Good food, nice variety of beers on tap. Their kitchen is open until 2am on the weekends.

    This show will be exactly 10 years to the day that James Brown took the stage with them at The Garden. (12/21/2002)

    so went to the first basketball game at Barclays Center. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, everything is so nice (a bit obvious). Its a much smaller venue then Ive been to. Even though it holds 19k people it doesn't seem that way. Times Union Center is absolutely bigger. We were in nose bleed seats and i must say they are steep very steep.

    Either way I know DMB will tear down the house. Cant wait

    Funny, I just got back from a tour of the venue, my friend works in the premier VIP department, it really is a nice venue, and I went all the way to the last row of section 218 and I imagined the stage and the way it would be set up and I don't think there is a bad view in the entire building! very cool place! a lot of places to eat too!

    on a side note, a friend of mine is coming with me to this show, she is into a lot of different music but she leans closer to "urban", hip-hop, R&B, etc. I always look forward to bringing people that aren't into DMB and seeing them get into it, it really is an experience the first time.

    I'm just going based on the temp charges on my AMEX and they match the GA Pit I was confirmed for the Atlanta show in series 8. So, it's either GA or lowers is my guess.
