Gotta love the 500. On to Milwaukee - Tickets were on sale for $3 dollars today because Helio won the 500. Pretty sweet deal, if it weren't 5 hours away I'd be there. Looking forward to seeing them again in Kentucky.

Ive always enjoyed Indy Car. With the exception of the 500 though Im not a huge fan of ovals. During the split I was a CART guy. Good to see the two series back together though. Marco and Graham are my guys, the future is US open wheel racing.

I was in attendance for the first two Helio wins, and he's been my favorite driver ever since. I couldn't make it today, but I'm ecstatic that he won!

I thought the race was really good this year if you didn't focus on the parade that was the Top 10. There were some ballsy moves on restarts and back in the pack throughout most of the race.

Vitor's wreck was scary as hell. I saw it coming when they went by me a few sections over from the flag stand and I couldn't believe neither of them were backing off.

Just got back to Pittsburgh from the race. My 8th and man, what a race. Was pulling for either TK or Marco. Wished it had ended on green, but so happy for TK. Probably one of the most deserving guys out there.

Curious, as i'm not a big Indy Car fan, what fans of the series think of Barber Motorsports park in Birmingham, Al and the race they have there. They're trying to make it like the "Augusta" of Indy Car racing(which will take time).

Wanted to bump this thread since we're getting closer and closer to the greatest spectacle in racing!

Also, Ryan Hunter-Ray is a fucking idiot. The "move" he tried to pull off yesterday at Long Beach was beyond moronic and costed A LOT of people including himself a good race. Good for Conway though in pulling out the win.

Went to the Indy race at Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham today and I can see why they call it the "Augusta of racing". Really fun experience and they also have a really cool motorcycle museum. If you live in the Southeast and enjoy racing, i recommend making the trip sometime.
