Yeah the BJs found a way to give that game away quick. Disappointing, and I hope Columbus can find a way to bounce back. That's gotta be a tough pill to swallow for those young guys. And now the Pens are 6-0 vs the BJs this season. At some point that's gotta get in your head as a team. Especially a young one

Columbus, while not having the game wrapped up by any means, had control of it. That quick one hurt right after going up 3-1. I agree that it has to be deflating for a young team. I hope they don't get swept. I wonder if a team has ever started 0-8 in their first two playoff appearances.

Tampa was terrible defensively the parts watched. Both in goal and team wise. The OT goal was brutal. I'm curious as to how game 2 will be. Maybe Tampa isn't as good as we thought they were.

they could have lulled the penweenies to sleep if they so chose. they looked flat from about the middle of the 2nd onward

I was thinking the same thing. In Pitt it was 3-3, 5 minutes into the 2nd and the Tampa it was going back and forth. 80's hockey is back.

I don't know if it was touched on last night but crazy to think Hiller wasn't going to start. I know Andersen has been good but still crazy. Some were suggesting Gibson starting. Maybe another goalie on the move from the Ducks this summer?

Saying that though, db benching letang was the right move. Guy was a train wreck.

Gibbons looked amazing on the pk. Beau and stemps made sutter look like a really good 3rd line center for the first time in forever.

If letang just plays simple like he did in the final 3 games he'll be fine. He tries to harlem globetrotter it on the pp though.

Martin and nisky make the smart plays on pp.

well that sucked. now im really hoping they just don't get swept.

right when they went up 3-1 i said to the guys i was watching the game with "the only problem now is they have to win this game, and there is a lot of time left, blowing this lead is going to completely deflate them." could see it coming from a mile away though. they're just overmatched, they don't have the depth at wing to maintain posession and they can't stop the pens PP.

just don't get swept, please.

I was putting my son to bed and it was 2-1. Came back and it was 3-3. Was hoping it was just back and forth and not Jackets up 3-1 cause I thought, that would kill them. Rewound my my Tivo and saw just that....Ugh.
