A lot of times I'll reply all even if all the recipients don't necessarily need to know what my answer is so that those very recipients aren't just left in the lurch wondering whether or not I responded to the inquiry.

We have an epidemic of people complaining they're not kept in the loop enough about things, so sometimes it's like throw anyone on that email who might remotely be involved in this, so they don't get offended

i once got called out by my supervisor for not responding to an email he was CC'd on. I said I did respond, I just didn't include all 9 people because they didn't all need to know "whatever time that works for everyone else is fine with me".

My problem is that my counterpart has some kind of strange compulsion to include our supervisor on almost every single email she ever sends- it makes it so it looks like I;m doing nothing, when in reality, I feel like if I'm doing my job well I don't need to advertise it every step of the way

I ran to Rite-Aid last night to get children's mucinex.
I only took a change purse type thing (with literally 1 form of payment and a few dollars) and my keys, thinking I'd be fine. The cashier asked for ID and they wouldn't budge when I said I didn't have it with me.

I went home, went back out but went to Walgreens. Bought the same children's mucinex. Cashier did not ask for id.
I made a comment to her (about having to run home to get my license) and she was like "I'm fairly certain you're over 18."

Meanwhile, this was after we went to a family type restaurant after work to meet / screen a new potential baby-sitter and after waiting an hour to get 1 order of kids pancakes and bacon and 1 order of french toast sticks and sausage, we still did not have the food and just left.
I was not in a good mood last night.
