i once got called out by my supervisor for not responding to an email he was CC'd on. I said I did respond, I just didn't include all 9 people because they didn't all need to know "whatever time that works for everyone else is fine with me".
My problem is that my counterpart has some kind of strange compulsion to include our supervisor on almost every single email she ever sends- it makes it so it looks like I;m doing nothing, when in reality, I feel like if I'm doing my job well I don't need to advertise it every step of the way
