I'm really hoping to cross them off the list. Never been a HUGE fan but have always enjoyed their music. Would be cool to see metal royalty in concert.

Yeah the 30-year Anniversary shows were badass and fanclub only, now this show....pretty awesome.

I like these 2 songs. Good outlook for the album.

I'm just happy they still come out with new music. A band at their level could just play stadiums for as long as they feel like playing.

yeah, well many "fans" got screwed by people who are dumping tickets to secondary market. all proceeds from the show are going to charity and asshats trying to profit off of it. damn shame.

At the end of the night during their closing monologues, Lars was mentioning many of the venues they played, and he said that they will be seeing us next year "across the river." Have to assume it's Metlife Stadium or Citi Field.

Sick setlist.

I'm assuming they're thinking a stadium tour rather than an arena tour? Means I'd have to drive to Nashville (3 hr) or New Orleans (6 hr). Not sure I want to see them that bad.

Hoping arena so they'll come to Memphis and I can sleep in my own bed. Getting old is lame. Getting lame as I get older is even lamer.

I would imagine it's timing of when their tour starts, time frame throughout the tour, geographic location, etc. I imagine they would rather play Citi Field or Metlife as opposed to MSG and barclays for the NYC demographic. I don't think they'd have an issue filling any of the baseball stadiums, but also the show in Minnesota sold out I believe, which is listed at ~66-67k for football games. So idk...

they did hint at a tour consisting of multi-stops in multi-cities.

I have to think so. They had a new stadium rig when they played the pre-Super Bowl gig earlier this year.
