Ain't that wild? My wife and I are moving to Greeley end of June. All the way from West By God Virginia. We're excited, scared, financially strapped, giddy, restless, you name it. I've never lived outside this state so it's going to be a wild experience for me. Ultimately, we're saving money, moving up in our careers, and setting forth on an adventure our marriage desperately needs. It's all good really.
We haven't bought tickets for this two night stand yet, you know, financially strapped and all, but eventually when things settle down we'll be making it work. We do however have tickets for the Pittsburgh show June 6, our home venue for the past 8 years. Reading about the lack of tailgating is concerning, bc we're so used to Starlake and it's enormous gravel lots and "best in the biz" tailgating. Honestly, we've been to 20 shows and Starlake's tailgating is definitely the best we've seen. With the addition of Bela to the lineup though I can let the tailgating slide. We were lucky to catch him at Starlake last year and that Typical Situation was magical. Truly.
Whiteysax, if you're reading this, we jammed at Bristow 2012 (i think that was the year). Ants tailgate was rolling that year, great turnout. Doubt you remember me. Would love to check out your band when we get to CO.
I look forward to moving into your beautiful state and hope we don't make a mess of things while we're there. Until the end of August friends.

Welcome to Colorado, hope you enjoy it. I am sure you have visited Greeley and not moving cold. Greeley is an interesting town. I went to university there and the town eventually grew on me. Although the town has changed a ton since I was there 17 years ago, yikes.
As for DMB concerts in colorado, the tailgating is typically fairly good. DMB has never played this venue and quite frankly the venue will not wow anybody. The other thing you will have to get use to is we don't get a show every year.
Congrats on the move, I am sure you will settle in nicely.
