Ticketmaster was tough this year. Nothing good for pairs. A lot of really good uppers have been popping up on here and EH though. I think I've seen Center CC,DD,HH for sale.

Since the return to DTe I rarely do better then what WH offers. I did snag a pair in Z this year but it was a gift.

Anything center at DTE would rock. Heck for 4 rows and save $20 on face that isn't a bad idea.

Comedancewithme had a pair of CC center for sale for a few weeks. Check the ticket forum, I'm not sure if they sold or not. The DD were on here a while ago too but I think sold. I'll look for the others and let you know.

I have a pair of Warehouse seats for sale section RT7 Row HH at Pine Knob if anyone is interested. That is the first row of the section and I hope the Warehouse wouldn't stick us on the far right side of the row. Seats of course are pending. Face is $75 each.

Shows have been hit or miss so far. The one thing that has me optimistic is that they always seem to give us different shows here than the year previous.

That actually scares me. We had such a good acoustic last year, one of the best. Leaves the door open for TMTT, WAYG, and the other usual suspects!

Good point. I think they will be in a good groove by then as well. I have Riverbend in a couple of weeks, hoping for good things. Anyone else going to Riverbend, Alpine, or Denver as well?

I really hope the Ladies are gone by the time they hit Pine Knob here. I'm optimistic though because, for some reason, the band seems to love playing here. I know I'm bias but I think we got the best show of the tour last year (Typical tour debut, Stone tour debut, the run of Raven, Seek up, SMTS->ASTB->Too much (fake)->WWYS, Granny). I feel like we've gotten really solid shows every year.

Since about 2012's encore (LIOG Reprise -> Halloween -> Billies) we have gotten pretty solid shows like Spoon in 2013 and stuff. Excited for this year.

We got gone of the best shows i think. For sure one of the best acoustic sets. No Back You Up, Minarets or Recently but ours was damn good. Typical alone was great and I love D&T Crush.

I don't want the ladies here either. Long Black Veil would be cool but other than that...no.

we did the texas run... Austin felt like a rehearsal, Dallas was quite solid, Houston was a snoozer to us-- until Halloween.

hopefully they work some variety into things over the next 6 weeks, and we get a few gems here

hello all, i am making my 1st venture to DTE this year. My tickets are behind the sound mix CTR6 kinda curious if anyone had an experience there.I could see it being bad or good. Also anything screwy with parking tailgating here?

Welcome! I've never sat directly behind the sound board but i am pretty confident that anything in the center section is an excellent view. DTE has excellent sight lines. You are going to feel much closer than you think you will.

Tailgating is okay. It's nothing crazy, but it could be worse. A little low key but it's sort of nice and relaxing for a weekday. Remember plastic cups to put your beer in, cans and bottles are not allowed. Parking is pretty good. I usually park in the middle, near the drive between the paved lot and the fielded lot. Almost always out within 15-30min.

I've said it before, we had issues with a security guy who must have had an extremely small dick, back in 2008. We literally were just standing there cooking and drinking and they were harassing us and then made us pack up. Funny enough we dispersed but a handful us ended up with another group of people and were doing the exact same thing as before, and no one bugged us at all. I'm not not still bitter or anything. Although made some good friends cause of that. Since then, no issues at all. It is very low key, which is what I would want. I just want to chill, eat some snacks and drink a few while hanging with my friends.

As for the seats, those should be great. Gotta assume the sound is great if the board is right there, plus center will be great. Back that far, I've sat right center and those were good, so center should be even better.

thanks for the responses. I'm going to SPAC N1 heading back to Buffalo for the 4th, Tigers game on the 5th, 6th Open then & 7th all day for the show. Excited to see my 14th different dmb venue.

It will be one of your favorites. Pine Knob is by far one of the best venues in the Midwest for it's capacity.

Ryan's on vacation but he can vouch for me. He was there too. This guy and his coworker came by on a golf cart just asking us questions. We were just there drinking with our stuff in cups, not block spots or the driveway, and cooking. He then came back and asked us to dump out our drinks and said we had to go in. It was the weirdest fucking thing. How many thousands of other people were doing it and we were getting picked on. Like I said, a couple of us got with this other group and hung with them and no one said anything. Hell, we were probably only a few rows of cars away from where we were parked. Guy was just a douche. Two years later I remember a guy coming up on us and I thought "shit" but they were just saying make sure we have our drinks in cups.

We have been given a hard time at pine knob too. We always stick to the grassy area now (in the middle) and since then no issues

The rules are not even close to consistent. Once year they tried to run us off and all were doing was grilling and hanging out. We ignored them and they didn't come back. The other time we were told to take down our pee tent when the people next to us had one out. We folded it down and then put it back up whenever we needed to use it. Every once in awhile someone on a golf cart gets a wild hair and acts like kind of the world.

It happens but not often.
