Ticketing Issue at CO shows

Not surprising -- isn't this the venue who used the stupid-ass "Waiting Room" during the public onsale in March? That used to be cool... back in the late 90's with tickets.com

Are they saying that the print-off tickets weren't working and had to be exchanged for physical tickets? Or was it just a bunch of people waited until the last minute to pick up their will call tickets? I showed up to the venue at about 5:15 on Friday and walked by the box office and there was no line. 6 windows for AXS and 1 window for WH and you could walk right up to any window.

I got there at 6pm on Friday, waited in a 30 minute line. 6 AXS windows but only three of them had people manning them. Line easily quadrupled in the time it took me to get my tickets.

IMO there is the first issue, people can't expect to show up an hr before the posted show time knowing there are thousands of people who need to get their tix and think the line will be short, fast, or effective.
I would have figured on getting there by 4 tops.

I had no idea that thousands of people would be picking up tickets. I still don't know why so many tickets were will-called. I got the ones I bought on the initial sale mailed to me. I assumed everyone else did the same. The ones at will-call were the ones I bought the day of the show, and I didn't think there'd be too many of us in that boat.

That's makes sense on your end. I wonder why they did it that way, seems stupid IMO and clearly did t work well
