Aside from using the CD-DA files for the vinyl, I simply won't buy records anymore than I know have been pressed at United in Nashville (URP), they have little to no quality control, records are often noisy and at least one side is pressed so far off centre that the record has pitch issues.
Awful record. Let's hope the new album isn't as bad, this is the first major label release (catalogue titles are Sony Legacy) so it remains to be seen whether they'll treat the vinyl right.
I have no plans to buy the vinyl until I hear more on it.
