I think going 1 and 1 on these next two games is realistic. Giants cannot go 0-2. That'd crush him

It's unbelievable how well the giants draft D line and develop that talent. Hankins is a hell of run stopper
Wholeheartedly agree on all the above. I think Williams is going to be fine as the workhorse (even though he was clearly overused in college). As a complimentary back, I think Hillis is fine.

0-2 and we can kiss this season goodbye. Hard to imagine they recover from that.

I'm surprised Robert Nunn (D line coach) hasn't gotten a look for Defensive Coordinator position somewhere with all the success he's had.

Jayron Hosley added to the 53 man roster. Surprising move, Giants usually don't give many chances to guys with drug suspensions. I'm glad he's back though he can definitely help in the secondary.

His name actually popped up briefly last year when the Eagles were filling their staff

Sick to my stomach over Cruz, that was pretty horrible.

I couldn't believe how fast the Giants diagnosed him.

    it's an easy diagnosis

they knew what the injury was before he even got up off the turf

My point is the Giants are typically guarded with that kind of info but sent out a tweet literally five minutes after he went down.

yea, i mean, in a situation where the severity was quite obvious, why play games? seems like the right call

only reason i'm saying that is because i felt really bad for Cruz. But the Giants gain nothing by holding back the diagnosis...an x-ray would only confirm what they knew already is all i'm saying

It reminded me of watching Revis tear his ACL against the Dolphins early in 2012. Not that we were gonna be good, but it was pretty much the pin that popped that season's balloon.

Just saw that it was the first game in NYG history that the Giants had at least 10 punts, 10 penalties and allowed 400 yards. That combined with losing Cruz pretty much solidifies your point.

    That just sucked all around.

If I played DE against Justin Pugh last night, Phi would have extended my contract. Our OL was fucking God-Awful. Zero to hero and back again. Hate to say it, Dallas is really a must win:

I hate to say it, but who did the Giants really beat in those three weeks? Washington, Atlanta and Houston are by no means good teams.

As awful as that game was, Superbowl XXXV was way harder to watch.

Coming off of a shut out loss to a division rival----with Dallas coming off a huge win and coming back from west coast playing a team coming off of a shutout...I'm taking New York in the under and that's without seeing the line! Big trap game for dallas

    Beckham looks very good.
Andre Williams is painful to watch.

I mean, aren't the Giants supposed to be running the west coast offense? Since when does that call for running a guy up the gut for 1 yard every time he touches the ball? How did they not run 10 slants to Beckham? Guy was getting separation whenever he wanted the times I saw him. There's no reason for him not to be catching 5 slants per game when your best RB option is Andre Williams.

Coughlin demands balance regardless of who is in the backfield. Andre Williams strength is running between the tackles, although he sure hasn't displayed it these last two weeks. Clearly the rookie is much more suited to be Jennings change of pace back.

If you're going to run between the tackles, use Hillis. Sad as that sounds, he's the better back right now. Can't Michael Cox run outside a bit? I dunno, it's painful watching Williams run honestly. He's not there yet at all.

We get that Jets fans hate winning and/or winning Super Bowls but it's seriously time to change that sig of yours.

Actually don't change that sig, it gets funnier by the week.
