KC is fun to watch. Makes me nostalgic for when the Twins were fun to watch.

I was hoping the Nationals would have put up a better showing and made a run to the WS. A Royals/Nats WS would have been fun.

What the Twins need is better chemistry and a better clubhouse culture. The manager can set that tone. That's pretty much the manager's biggest responsibility. Most managers can make the correct calls during the game. What separates managers is their ability to create the right clubhouse culture and to get the most productivity out of the players they have.

Do you think the players the Twins have are living up to their potential? I've always felt like they are underperforming for the most part.

The young talent showed flashes this season, it was nice to see. Being it looks like reports have the Twins going with Molitor, they must be banking he'll get the most out of these guys after already working with them.

    Good choice?

If Maddon hadn't come on the market, then yeah, I would have said good choice. It would have been nice to have some fresh perspective come in from outside the organization for once, but Molitor "makes sense".

Twins Facebook page just posted pics of the new home uniforms. I think they look good, save for the gold accenting. I don't really think it adds anything.

That's literally the only thing they changed on the uniform I thought.

    Edit: oops. no pinstripes.

I like removing the pinstripes, but the gold accent adds very little. It seems like a cash grab for a team that has seen attendance drop by nearly 20% over the past two years.

I do like that Dave St Peter subtly trolls idiots that tweet him.

Guy comes at him about the new uniforms: "I'm no expert but putting together winner makes more $ than changing jerseys every year."

St Peter responds: "Haven't changed home uni since '87."

Guy responds: "Point is, a winning team can attract more fans."

    St Peter: "Well aware."

Joe Vavra named as bench coach.

Who is this guy blowing to remain employed by this organization? How many different coaching positions has he held now?

Twins sign Torii Hunter to a 1 year, 10.5 million dollar deal. Seems like a lot of money given his age...And I really hope this isn't just a front office stunt to get butts in the seats at TF. That money could have been spent on pitching.

Maybe hes getting set up to be trade bait? No way we are going to the WS in 2015.

Is there pitching out there worth throwing money at? They reached with Nolasco due to lack of arms out there last off season and it bit them in the ass. I love this signing.

Probably not. We're not getting a top tier pitcher, and I don't want Nolasco 2.0

Either way we're not winning this year, so a signing that can help us a little in the field, and a lot off the field is great in my book.
