But that setlist, my goodness it was powerful.

Wow, great job on all of the Paul McCartney videos, Chad. I realize how time consuming that can be. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE concert. The weather turned out to be perfect, too. The stories and backgrounds Paul tells before certain songs were a terrific part of the show. I just wish Dave did a little more of that. Blackbird is my all time favorite song, and the fact that Little Rock played a big part in the song's history, made the night that much more special. You could tell that it meant a lot to Sir Paul, too, especially since he's never played the city before.
My ears are still ringing! After the "Live and Let Die" explosions and flames, it was amazing that the smoke cloud filled the entire roof of that giant facility, all from just one song. We were sitting at the very top in the back, and there was still a very strong smell of propane in the air. Pretty cool! And no, it wasn't hippie lettuce,...Ha! However, there were numerous skimpy and groovy flower child outfits in the crowd,...not that I noticed! Also, I've never seen such crazy lines for merchandise sales in my life, they must've made a fortune. From the yell of the crowd, it sounded as if most folks traveled there from out of state, but considering that it was to see and hear a real Beatle, that understandable.
We stuffed ourselves, and enjoyed Saturday's Special of a bucket of beer at Skinny J's, which was great, so thanks for the heads-up about that place, Chad. I would have yelled out to locate you, but the place was so jam-packed and noisy, I don't think anyone would've noticed. We luckily got a table just before the waiting line started going out the door and down the sidewalk. That Irish Pub down on the corner appeared to be fun and packed also, as everyplace in that neat historic section of town seemed to actually be. We drove back to Branson after the show and didn't arrive until 4am, because it was so dang foggy. We can't wait to return to Little Rock for the DMB.
