I'll be honest. I am too cool for shitty light beers. Box wine, Waffle House, most fast food, margarine, white bread, jack Daniels...too cool for all those too. Life's too short...why would I want to spend it drinking shitty beer?

This brisket. So fucking good. Glad I smoked it. Can't beat USDA Prime brisket for $2.99 per pound. It was so good i didn't even use my KBS Bbq sauce. Best brisket I've ever done. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ee29d537c5.jpg

Anyone had Evil Twin/Omnipollo's Lemonade IPA? Most of what I've heard has been good, but I feel like a lemon IPA is a tough brew to find balance in.

Really enjoy Strike Brewing Called Up Extra Pale Ale.

    http://broncowine.com/wp-content/upl...Pale_Glass.jpg

I think I like it better than Mad River Brweings version of Extra Pale Ale. Taste is similar, but Strike Brewing is just a tad better. I guess I should try Knee Deep Brewing Citra Extra Pale Ale.

I was really impressed with Canton when I was up there a couple weeks ago. Large place, well laid out, solid, and pretty quick, service. They also had a nice supply of beer on hand as well, good variety, just wish I would have time to have at least one draft pour before I headed out. Guess that gives me more reasons to go back some time soon.

Picked up a bomber of KBS today to add to my stockpile...local bottle shop just got a case in today. I wonder if it was a case the distributor was holding back or if Founders actually sent more out.

Yeah I mean, like others have said, Bud/Coors/Miller Lite all have their purpose but I'd rather drink just about any other beer available than those.

Acceptable times to drink the shitty lite beers:

    1. During/after doing yardwork on a hot day.
    2. Drinking large quantities at a bar, tailgate, etc. where there will be several consecutive hours of drinking and you don't want to be shitfaced after 3-4 8% ABV IPA's in an hour.
    3. Drinking at a sporting event where they are usually the only thing being circulated by vendors in the stands.

These are legitimately the only three situations where I can accept a shitty light beer. Any other time I'd rather be going for something with some more flavor that I'll actually enjoy.

My favorite are the middle aged/old men that get seriously upset at craft beer on a menu.

Probably happens more in a place like Pgh than say NYC but the grumbling I hear from dudes 50+ about beer selections and is pathetic and hilarious.

They cannot grasp that people like beer that tastes good as opposed to drinking Budweiser or Miller light every time you want a beer.

To the bold, I have pretty much stopped drinking at sporting events because:

    1) Most of the beer is shitty.
    2) I refuse to spend $10-$15 for ONE shitty beer.
    3) Any 'craft' selection at sporting event is usually Heineken or the seasonal brew from Sam Adams and that is going to run $12-$18 per beer, and typically a smaller pour as well.

That is funny. The place I go to most often has 26 beers on tap at any given time and they turn over the list all the time. Here is their current beer list:
    https://www.beermenus.com/places/3693-buddha-beer-bar

However, most of the places that I frequent don't have a lot of draft, maybe 10-12 beers tops.

Scenarios 1 and 2 are perfect for All Day IPA. If I'm going to drink a few while busting my ass in the yard, I want it to be something that I'll enjoy.

Steelers and Pirates have done a really good job incorporating craft beers into the stadiums.

I know for the Pirates I can get Bell's Oberon 16oz cans, and they have others, just cant remember off the top of my head.

Steelers have Goose IPA, Goose 312, Stella, Shocktop and a few others.

PNC Park does have a decent craft selection. Steelers not so much.
