definitely...and i believe verizon is actually still running the deal where you get it shipped for $25. it doesn't add much more weight or bulk to the design and comes with a new battery door. i was worried that it woudl no longer fit in a normal case, but it fits in all of the ones i have just fine.

Can anyone clarify for me what Backup Assistant Plus is? It is always running on my phone "backing stuff up," but I don't know what it's backing up or where it's putting it. It's constantly doing this and notifying me of it, and it's really fucking annoying.

Thought I wasn't eligible for an upgrade til September or so but turns out I am now. I'm looking at getting the Galaxy SIII in the next week or so, looking forward to it.

Also gonna have to give up the unlimited data, but since I learned about Verizon doing that, I started tracking my data usage. And since I started doing that, I also happened to get a tablet that I use like 95% of the time when I'm at home now, instead of my phone, so my usage went way down. I'm in day 26 of 31 this month and have used 1gb

But also going to look to put our whole family (my fiancee and her mom) on the new share everything. 4gb would probably be enough for us and would cut about $20 off the bill. Even if you think you might go over, 2 more gb is only $10. Just have to explain it all to the FMIL so it makes sense

    I'm lovin this phone.

So I must've missed this whole thing, but we can tether with our phones now without having to root or pay an extra fee? Just read an article about the courts saying Verizon couldn't stop users from doing it, or ban tethering apps from the Google store. I just switched on Moble Hotspot on my phone, then connected my tablet and it worked like a charm.

I guess now that there's going to be no more unlimited data, it's better for them to let you use up your data by tethering?

Is there a delay when you push the main home button from the internet or another app? It's not significant or anything, just kinda slow. My guess is its designed like that. Def not as fast as the Rezound was but that was on HTC Sense.

Downloaded it and installed flawlessly. Really like it so far. No more haptic feedback on my keyboard anymore, which is hard to get used to but it is way less glitchy now. And it also probably cuts down on battery life waste with it not giving my a response everytime I push a key. My phone feels brand new with the new look. Although I do feel like my speakers got turned down my phone just isn't as loud all around. Ring tone, notification, text message, the lock sound. It all is more quiet than what it was. I know these are minor nit picks. Overall I give it a solid 9.

Hmm, maybe like a second or less, nothing I really notice I don't think.

Don't know much about the One X other than hearing it's good. But I hear a lot more about how awesome the S3 is

Maybe it's a phone by phone thing, but I'd think haptic feedback is a setting you can change. I don't use it on my keyboard because I use Swype, but I do like the haptic feedback for all other keypresses.

I got ICS right after I got my Acer tablet and the S3 came loaded with it, so I love it and was able to recognize a few of its characteristics right away. One of my favorite things is when you hold whichever button your device uses to show you your recent apps, instead of just being the app icons, it actually shows you a little preview of the window of all those apps.

But now devices are starting to get Jelly Bean it never ends!

The physical buttons on the device still give me haptic feedback, but my keyboard no longer does. Within one evening of texting and posting on here i am already used to it.

Ah! Found it. It was selected as on but the duration of the feedback wasn't long enough to register on the device. I'm already over it and used to not having it.

Touch typing on a phone is so 2009 though you should try Swype!

The S3 came loaded with a Samsung Swype-like keyboard, but some noticeable differences.
