I may wait overnight if I can make it. They start taping super early. I went a couple years back with my dad for Buffett, and we got there about 2 hours before taping (around 7 am if I recall) and were pretty much in the last group of people who could actually see the stage.

It may have been changed cause the today show sent out emails saying if you want to go to the show you could request tickets. so I dont know if that means a certain number of tickets will be given + open first come first serve. Or if it means tickets only for entry. But for sure, tickets will be given out.

I think there are fan passes for a certain area, or maybe to watch the band get interviewed inside.... but either way, you do not need a ticket to see the show.
