Went to the Iowa Cubs last night. We got dugout seats and it paid off. Chris Dominguez rolled us a broken bat. My son got 3 balls given to him, one which he got signed by Jeimer Candelario. He also got his glove signed by Pierce Johnson before the game, who ended up getting the save in the game.

It was awesome but now his expectations are going to be thru the roof at future baseball games.

Went to the game on Wednesday. Really enjoyed myself. Really great place to see a game. People in and around the stadium were incredibly friendly to my wife and I, even in our Yankees gear. I liked walking from the train to the stadium with the crowd like that. You take your life in your hands during the walk from the train to the stadium in the Bronx. Aside from the fact that I think my seat was older than Babe Ruth, I'd love to go back.

I think the Cubs will turn it around, but I am very concerned with Arrieta. He is a shell of his former self. It's sad that Maddon said he looked great today even after giving up 4 runs. That tells you how far he has fallen from his Cy Young self. He looks very easy to hit right now. Velocity is way down and he doesn't have the movement he used to have. He is making mistakes right over the middle of the plate and paying for it. I hope he will be solid the rest of the year, but thankful the Cubs didn't sign him to a long-term deal.

Looks like Happ will be sticking around, no way they can send him down with the way he is hitting.

I'd probably send Almora down for now with how well Jay is hitting - I just can't imagine there will be many AB's for Almora right now.
