Can Chris Berman get some help?

This is just terrible. I heard he was at the Mets games with friends and the police came to get to him. Can't imagine a worse feeling along with my anything happening to my kids.

I feel like a lot of those guys, despite having a ridiculous TV personality, are genuinely nice guys. I interviewed Ron Jaworski during one of his arena football team games, and he was one of the nicest people I've met. And I couldn't stand him on TV.

Tired of Berman's act, but I always felt he came off like a nice dude off camera. This whole situation is a damn shame.

Don't know the particulars but he is next of kin, right? She was alone in the car. Maybe they didn't have his number but called ESPN who said he was at the game. I guess ESPN could have given cell phone number out which they may have but I'm sure it was much better to have cops go find him and say to Chris Berman, "we need you to come with us" and take him to a closed room to give him the news instead of telling him over the phone with hundreds of people around to take video of Chris Berman leaving Citi Field trembling in tears.
