Re: *Official Toronto/ACC Thread - 12/07/2012*
Not related to th ACC show but for local Ants, we made the drive to C'Ville for the weekend. Google will give you 3 choices for routes. via Pittsburgh, via Corning N.Y and straight down through NY. We took that route through Salamanca NY and Central Pa, zig-zagging thru to Berkeley WV. and on to Winchester Va where we stayed. Not much in the way of traffic on Friday and even less yesterday. A mix of 2 and 4 lane roads, all in good shape with the exception on a 5 mile stretch of Rte 86 in NY. About 8 hours from Mississauga to Winchester on Friday and a little less yesterday. There was the 130 mile drive after the show but I don't drink so it wasn't a big deal. We were in the upper bowl at the opposite end to the stage - great seats as it's a bbal arena not a hockey arena. Ducked out right at the end of Watchtower and were on the highway within 5 -8 minutes. A little more organized than the clusterfuck that is Toronto traffic. Absolutely worth the trip. One thing that seems to make me even more insane as I get older is people going in and out of their seats, both here and in C'ville. They really need to sell a "stay in your fucking seat" section.
