ahhh, sbd. right on, I get it. Thanks for the help.
I do not believe it is a soundboard, but the quality is decent.

Anyone heading to Furthur in Orlando?

Last show I saw there was Ratdog:

    11/19/08 - Wednesday
    Hard Rock Live-Universal Studios
    Orlando. FL

    Set I:
    d1t01 crowd/tuning
    d1t02 Jam* >
d1t03 Help On The Way >
    d1t04 Slipknot >
    d1t05 It's All Over Now >
    d1t06 She Says
    d1t07 Wrong Way Feelin'
    d1t08 Tennessee Jad
d1t09 All Along The Watchtower >
    d1t10 WRS Prelude/Part 1 >
    d1t11 Let It Grow
    Set II:
    d2t01 crowd/tuning
    d2t02 Big Iron@ >
    d2t03 Mexicali Blues@
    d2t04 The Weight@ >
    d2t05 West L.A. Fadeaway
d2t06 Man Smart, Women Smarter >
    d2t07 Drums >
    d3t01 Stuff >
    d3t02 Stella Blue >
    d3t03 Throwing Stones >
    d3t04 Not Fade Away
    Encore:
    d3t05 Slipknot >
    d3t06 Franklin's Tower

I was diggin the West LA, hadn't heard it in a while! The second Slipknot was killin' it also. Furthur should be good. People are saying it's the shiz.

I love Warren with Mule and ABB, but I was happy to see a "new" Dead incarnation without him. He just didn't seem to fit the mold. I always thought John from DSO would be the perfect fit. Happy to go watch my "fantasy" Dead!

Warren was right for the money. He is also a much better guitar player than Jimmy Herring. Steve Kimmock gets Jerry a bit better, but does not sing.

eh. IDK - Herring is an absolute monster who never EVER plays the same thing twice where as Warren can at times be somewhat repetitive...

have you ever listened to Jazz is Dead? (Jazz Is Dead released three albums; the material was fusion jazz-rock, largely instrumental-only cover interpretations of classic Grateful Dead songs) or the band Aquarium Rescue Unit? Herring was in both and his guitar playing is fuckin incredible

ARU is awesome. I am just a Warren homer. I will admit it. I do think out of all the people to take on Jerry for GD purposes, Warren was the worst. At the end of the day, he is fucking Warren Haynes! Ya feel me?

Jazz is Dead? New to me. I will give it a look-see. Thank you.

Love Warren but he was terrible with GD. He was way to conservative he played like he was scared to mess up and get the scorn of Bob. I am not sure that I would like to see Warren back in that roll although I like he vocals on GD songs.

    PS
Has anyone seen Further this tour? Is it worth going too?

I feel you and for a long, long time Warren was easily my fav guitar player out there - no matter what band he was playing in...

until I heard Jimmy Herring play with the Dead in '04 and WOW - incredible (and Herring is the only reason why I see Panic - well him and Schools, who is gnarly on bass)

I am really torn on whether to spend the $60 on going to see them. I hate Bob because he is usually a trainwreck but if he is sounding good this tour I think I will spend the money. I have Ratdog a bunch of times and he was beyond terrible with them, but in April of last year he was sounding pretty good. I am not really sure what Bob is going to show up.

Herring blew my mind in 04. Wow was he good. He is easily the best replacement for Jerry.
