Re: Favorite beer of choice?

I've had Berry Bu, really good, Citra Hose, not for me, and Raspberry Bu, which was also really good. The fruited ones just have so much fruit and are so juicy.

I had Citra Hose and thought it was fantastic.

    Also Peach Bu. Equally phenomenal.

Was just browsing Untappd and looking at the breweries I've had beers from and was shocked to see that I've had 90 different beers from Three Floyds. Surprised it's that high. Also surprised that I've had 77 from Sun King...and I'm not even a big fan of theirs. Probably the most impressive is 61 unique beers from Crooked Stave. I've mostly stopped using Untappd over the last couple of months. It's been kind of nice actually to be away from it.

Three Floyds cranks out a ton of different beer for sure. I think I check in 1/3 of the beers I drink, I was also late to join.

It's crazy to think that I've had THAT many but probably haven't even come close to having 1/2 of all of their beers.

I've been on untappd since 2011 or 2010....For a long time I didn't miss a check-in....but the more I miss them, the less I care about doing it. Just drinkin beer

Quite honestly the main reason I do it now is to remember beers

I am the worst beer name person ever, so Ill see something on the shelf and I can check to see if it was good/worth buying again, etc.

I had GI Dark Crusader (brewpub barrel aged beer) on Friday and called it probably 8 other variations of Dark _________ throughout the night without getting the name right once. Great beer, but I am the worst name person ever.

Lunch isn't tough to find. I bought my bottles right at Maine beer co for $6 a bottle. Dinner is only brewed like 2-3 times a year (I think) so it's unlikely she will find that.

Speaking of Lunch... Was at a Deciccos market yesterday in NY and they were selling Lunch. Grabbed that, some Grimm IPA and Singlecut Billy Fullstack IIPA. Successful Sunday trip.

I hear you. The main reason I used it was to just keep track of everything I've had. Finding that the less I use it, the less I really care about tracking it all. If I've had it before and it was good enough, I should be able to remember it.

this can't be overstated....I know Lunch gets a lot of hype, but I'm not sure I wouldn't take Epiphany over many of Maine's beers....

I think they might brew Dinner more frequently than that b/c it always seems to be on tap when I go up there... I just think they do limited bottling runs.

And smoke - have your friend stop by Bissell Bros too. And Foundation (as already suggested). and Austin Street. and Lone Pine. And, oh fuck it... just go up yourself and spend the weekend!

I believe I saw today the next dinner release is 6/25. She can get a case if she wants to wait in line for a couple hours really early in the morning. Can also buy lunch and other mbc beers at the brewery.

Speaking of Maine, I had Mo for the first time yesterday, another just stellar beer. Do they brew any bad ones? I've never been disappointed in them.

I've been to the brewery a few times... I've yet to have anything that I thought was less than good.

Grabbed a 4 pack of Sip and two 4 packs of Captain's Daughter from my local guy yesterday. It pays to make friends with the guy behind the counter!

Didn't get fleeced too bad either. Sip was $14 for the 4 pack and the CD came to $22 for 8. Pretty good considering I paid $20 for a 4 pack of Sip last summer.
