Thanks for the optimism. We've got a solid few days till the show. Surely people will start to relax their prices, and/or AM comes thru.

Craigslist people are out of control. $300/ticket for floor. Ants is usually my first stop fort DMB tix, and craigslist only if I'm in a bind. I'm sure the prices will come back down as the date gets closer and the scalpers...I mean sellars start to get anxious.

Haha, it's kinda fucked up to admit but I honestly kind of like the mind game of messing with people selling tickets for such high prices. I've already had several sellers try to contact me for "reduced rates", still crazy, but get a life.

One guy was like, "StubHub values this ticket at 270 dollars". Because clearly StubHub is the true measure of value in the ticket market. Haha.

TBH I haven't been on Ants in several years, but this has always been my first and last stop for legitimate DMB happenings, including tickets. I just figured y'all would appreciate or get a kick out of my current struggles. Heck, maybe I'll be lucky enough to meet anybody next week. I bartend at Mellow Mushroom in town and am planning on pre-gaming at the N. Charleston location before the show.

Was able to pull a section 113 row G single.. Never been to this venue, looks pretty small, is this a good seat? I'm kind of anal about my seats, try to always be lower level. Was going to hold out for something closer day of but didn't want to risk it.

Yeah those seats will definitely be fine. The venue isn't that big. It's used mostly for minor league hockey. Occasionally we get decent concerts there but not often. Mostly country bands, widespread panic, etc. prob similar in size to the arena in Charlottesville earlier this tour.

The N Chas Mellow is huge, I can see it being packed, but hopefully theres room, also there's no shortage of back up options. Also, can confirm pretzels with beer cheese. They're also hosting a post-party with Return of the Mac, a fun cover band, after the show.

taking my wife to her first Dave concert on Tuesday in Charleston.

We have general admission tickets.

I would love to get her as close as possible.
I see doors open at 6:30.

Any idea from those that have been to this venue before, what time we should arrive to get as close as we can?

You're going to have a much better time if you hang further back, and don't worry about getting as close as possible. But if you're dead set on getting close, I'd get in line around 4-5.
