A crowd, in general, gets more hyped for seeing a song like IBYU over something like VITR, especially because of how often it is/isn't busted out. But again, regardless of what the slow song may be, I think a set definitely loses some energy, when those songs pop up smack dab in the middle of an energetic set - unless it's an exciting song for the crowd. I don't think VITR is exciting - I feel like I'd need to be high at a show to enjoy it. Just opinion, as we all have.
I've been seeing this band/D&T since 1996 - I've seen IBYU 6x. VITR came out in 2015 and I've seen it 8x already. There's a difference.
Again, for me, during D&T it's not all that bad because I feel like it goes along with the flow... but full band... SCREEEEECH!
