The 90s seem like an awesome time to be in HS/college. In the early to mid 90s the dead were still around as well as bands like phish, dmb and WSP were coming on tho the scean. Then rap was really getting going as well. And society wasn't so weird then.

Yes but a inferior planet to the dead.

I'm not hating on oasis. They are good I really like them but just not even close to the Grateful Dead

The dead created a whole movement. They are one of the greatest rock bands of all time. They are road warriors that can't be matched.

    Road warriors? Who cares?

And that movement they created? I can do without it.

Like what you like Tyler, that's fine, but I personally have no use for the dead. Their best contribution to me was the one they made to the Lithuanian basketball team. That was fucking cool.

Completely. And at a time where it was much more difficult.

I kinda wish that Oasis had just released their early b-sides as two more complete albums. It would have showed what they truly were to everyone.

    But I'm ok with it.

Well they put in work night after night. Switching sets up and jamming sets different each night. No two shows are even close to the same.

Alright point I was trying to make is the 90s seems like a really cool time

That is awesome.....if you go to or listen to each show. In the real world for most people that means very little, so having great songs along with kicking ass in concert is important.

But the Grateful Dead does have great songs. I'm not saying in any way that oasis doesn't. I listen to oasis myself.

    Back to the 90s.

I think the 90s as a decade has a lot of aspects of the 70s 80s and 60s mixed. I could be well wrong but that's my observation.
