New Instant Ticket Dates Up

New instant ticket dates just went up SPAC thru Alpine. Get em while the getting is good! I got my WPB1 and Tampa! whoohoo!

Yes instant tickets are, first come first serve tickets only through the warehouse that they put up usually about a month away from the show. They get these "extra" tickets from supposed scalpers, ticket brokers, and other means. Then they sell them back through the warehouse to members. Sometimes they are decent seats but it is all luck because you don't know what you are getting until a little bit before the show.

You should still be alright. These literally went up today at 5pm EST. Not that many people know about them yet because they haven't sent out an e-mail like last time. Hell no one on nancies has said anything yet so you should be in good shape!

Eh probably depends on popularity of the venue though and what they were able to get from scalpers and brokers.

Yea 9 times out of 10 i would say yes. The first ones that went up for this tour went up b/w 5 and 6EST during the weekday.

haha, i've had the site open CONSTANTLY since they announced spac seats... today i had to do some errands, got home and i forgot to open it as usual... of course that would be when they throw them up.

I've never done instants before, so can someone tell me approximately when we get seat locations for instant tix? Is it right after the ordering period, or like a few weeks before the show?

looks like i'm a little late. they've been up for quite a few hours, so the chances of me gettin anything good for merriweather or riverbend are not good

I can't say I'm 100% convinced of that. I've still got a sneaking suspicion that they still end up doing a lottery. I think it's why they don't post the seats until about a week or 2 before the show. You are guaranteed reserved if that's what you requested, but it seems they wait until the last minute so they can pull in the max number of unused/scalped tickets, then run a lottery. I could be wrong. I guess I'll find out for sure this year, considering I must have been one of the first to put in for Toronto instants.

its not really a first come basis...thats just for tickets in general...seat locations have nothing to do with being the first to purchase...trust me

Where do you hear/read that. I literally called the warehouse last year and the guy basically confirmed what the other post said in that the first sets of instants to go up usually relate to the seats that did not sell in the regular lottery. He when on to say that when you buy instants, you simply buying seats-regardless of the location. I believe what he said was true based on the horrible location of my instant seats soon thereafter.
