I need help using Cool Pro Edit 2.0????

I have Cool Pro Edit 2.0 and i really need to know how to hook up my mic to it. I have the mic hooked up to my computer (it works using sound recorder) but cool pro edit doesnt pick it up. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it

ive also tried and couldnt figure out how, but i use a program called audacity, its a pretty good program, try using it

go into your windows recording settings and see what recording is set on... mic or line in? and see where your mic is plugged in (mic vs line in port)...
